Why do we need high fiber vegetables n fruits in our daily food?

It helps keep our bowel working regularly n prevent constipation..By providing bulk n softening stool,the pressure of hard bowel movements is eliminated.Fiber forms a gel in the intestines,which results in the binding of bile acids,an important among the juices in our body.When an insufficient amount bile acids reach the liver,the liver converts the cholesterol present into bile acids there by reducing cholesterol level.It also reduce chances of getting colon cancer n prevents overeating.
